The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 served alongside the Messerschmitt Bf 109 to defend Germany from the middle stages of WWII to the end of the war. Its use of an air-cooled engine was a rarity among contemporary European aircraft, and its combination of maneuverability, survivability and ease of maintenance led to massive popularity among pilots. The A-3 variant appeared in 1942 and proved a formidable foe for British aircraft, even as the balance of power began to change after the Battle of Britain.

About the Model
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 184mm, wingspan: 219mm. The Fw 190 A-3 form is captured with accuracy. Detailed depictions of the air-cooled radial engine, cowl cooling fans, fuselage exhausts and more. Realistic cockpit interior with a choice of open or closed canopy. Landing gear bays are depicted in style. Comes with a seated pilot figure and three marking options.

From the cowlings to the unique exhaust design, the overall form and details of the aircraft are captured accurately in 1/48 scale.
The underside showcases finely molded panel lines, rivets and landing gear bay detail.
Choose whether to assemble the model with open or closed canopy. A pilot figure is included.
