Background information

The history of the ETV Waker began in 1976 when the ship under the name "Smit Houston" ran off the stack. His most remarkable transformation took place in 1990 when it was converted for Greenpeace and equipped with a helipad. Since 1995, the deep -sea tractor has been used in the helder under the name "Waker" of the Dutch coast guard and, thanks to its powerful engines, reaches a speed of 14 knots.
